JD's Redemption Page 13

“Fucker, if you don’t quit that I am going to beat you!”

“Can you move your fat ass so I can go and get my girl?!”

“You made this mess, you can stay while I clean it.” He flipped me the bird and walked in the direction of the bar. Shaking my head, Nathaniel finally picked up the phone.

“What?” What was it with these assholes giving me attitude today? I could be balls deep in my fucking girl right now, but I am copping shit? Really?

“Clean up on aisle three. Get down to the bar in the next five and I will overlook the attitude.”

“Fine!” Was the reply I got so I hung up the phone and looked down at the body. I could just load it into the back of JD’s truck and let that ass deal with it. Chaos moved toward me.

“Don’t even think about it, Boss. JD will castrate you. I’m surprised he hasn’t already killed you for sitting on the tailgate.”

“He was close before he went and got a drink.” He leant against the truck beside me.

“It’s not one of our parties without a dead body.” I snorted.

“At least it’s the right side this time!”

“True.” We sat in silence as we waited for Nathaniel to show up. Twenty fucking minutes later, he pulled into the parking lot and loaded the body into his van.

  “Camera’s cleaned?”

“We are out of view which the asshole knew about. It’s why he picked here to ambush JD.” I got a nod back in return before he went in just to check that. This is what I paid him for. Despite the attitude, he was a professional. He and JD both came back out. He gave JD a bottle of something and made him wash his hands with it. I raised a brow.

“It will remove and trace of him from Jason’s skin. I will clean the body with it before I get rid of it. Whose got the gun?” I shifted, pulling it out from my jeans and handed it to him. “Yours?”

“His.” He climbed up into the van and opened a small gun safe he had in there. After one final sweep of the place, he closed up the van and headed out. Another reason I only used Nathaniel, was he was in and out quickly. Sliding off the tailgate, I heard JD sigh in relief. He was so damn protective over his truck, it made me want to mess with it even more. We all moved to our cars. Guess I should go save Corey before Ellie killed him. I couldn’t help but snort.

Life as a Reaper was never boring, that’s for sure.
